Policies & Procedures
Registration: $20 fee per student for Fall.
All students registering for summer courses will have their fall registration fee waived.
Payments: Tuition is due on the 1st of each month. Tuition is past due on the 10th of the month & a late fee of $10.00 will be charged. Make all checks payable to Passion Dance Center. A $35.00 NSF charge will be applied on all returned checks. If an account is past due more than one month the student will be removed from classes until past-due amount is paid.
Recital Updates will be sent home with the student on dates and costume fees during the course of the year. If any tuition balances are due costumes will not be released until, the bills are paid in full.
Picture Day is tentatively held the last week of March, you will be notified on specific dates and fees during the course of the year. The pictures will be for your memories and our yearly recital book.
Withdrawals: There are no tuition refunds once students have taken class. One month notice is required if a student decides to discontinue classes. To withdraw a guardian must complete and sign a withdrawal form. If this is not done, monthly tuition will be expected. All costume fees are non-refundable. Tuition is non-refundable in the event of inclement weather or if the student is sick.
12 year degree candidates: All students that wish to receive a 12 year degree in dance must complete at least 3 dance classes a month per school year. Ballet must be one of the 3 classes. It is a requirement.
UNIFORMS: All students must wear black leotards with sleeves and tan tights, and the PDC Dance shirt with the PDC shorts or sweat pants. For ballet, pink ballet shoes are required. For tap, black tap shoes are required. For jazz, black jazz shoes are required. A special uniform is not required for hip hop and contemporary classes. However, sneakers must be worn in all hip hop classes. And lyrical footundeez are recommended for contemporary classes. Every student is required to use the Passion Dance Center dance bag. Please refer to the Order Form for pricing on all necessary items. It is best to order with us to save you time and money.
